Apologies for the tardiness of this update. With the UC hiatus coming
up this may well be the last for some time.
I'd like to thank Tim for running UC all this time, and thank him also
for the opportunity to be the UC2 sub-commissioner.
SEASON 36 WRAP-UP
Season 36 finished with Andy Iyer's UAB leading the SL test ladder by a
game and a half from Warrick Dawes' SEP. Alex Coe's ISH finished at the
top of the SL ODI ladder one win ahead of Marc Gaschik's DEU. DEU were
the most consistant team overall, taking out the combined SL title by
just over 8 points from ISH, who were only 0.5 ahead of UAB.
The highest test score for the season was 324 by M_Bevan of FFS, best
test bowling was 9/37 by Richie_Benaud of PDB. The highest ODI score
was 220* by Knob of HSX and Grepkika of SHK had the best ODI bowling
analysis with 8/58.

PLAYER & MANAGER OF THE SEASON AND THE PLAYER AWARDS
The final (at least for a while) UC2 award night was, once again, a
glittering, red-carpet affair ...
PLAYER OF THE SEASON
The "Player of the season" this season was again decided based on the
amount of "Player of the Match" awards (POMs) a player received. Nine
points were awarded for a Test POM and 4.75 points for a ODI POM (the
same points a team recieves for a Test and ODI win respectively).
Using this method, and fourteen rounds of "Brownlow" style vote
counting, later ...

Cutting_Crew of OHW
Cutting_Crew, a fast swing bowler from Matt Thompson's div 2A side,
OHW, had a great test season with seven POM awards and two ODI POMs.

overall (8).
MANAGER OF THE SEASON
The "Manager of the season" this season was again decided based on the
team with the largest Abselo rating improvement for the season.
