There are lots of Fantasy Sport games out there but as far as I can tell there are no Tennis ones. So, welcome to what is hopefully the first and if not at least the best Fantasy Tennis site on the Internet.
For each Grand Slam tournament a new competition will run. All competitions will be free to enter and initially there will be no prize but as the site gains popularity I'd hope to raise some revenue to keep it going from the dreaded advertising but that should also provide some prizes for those who win. So, get as many people to come and have a look and enter and you may be providing the means to supply prizes faster.
The Rules will be the same for every tournament. Should there be problems with these rules please do not hesitate to inform me so we can upgrade them to make them better. I think these rules should work pretty well but I do not claim they are perfect.
Simply, each player in a tournament will be given a ranking from 1 to 6. You will be given a certain number of points to "select" 4 players with. The best players will be worth the most and the points you have will be quite restrictive so you can't pick just the top 4 seeds. You will have to pick 4 Men and 4 Women. In one way there will be 2 separate competitions but the winner will be the person who does best in both combined.
Once you have selected your players their performances in the Tournament will be evaluated and points allocated.
